Join the Rodeo Equipment Manufacturer's Challenge (REMC) and increase your winnings!

Only one rule: You must use the same REMC's equipment for all three event sites within a division. You may use different models of equipment, but it must be from the same REMC sponsor.

Also, compete at the Locate from Hell (aka Bonus Event) with the equipment provided by a sponsoring REMC and you could add even more money to your winnings. Keep in mind that any REMC sponsor's equipment, no matter what level sponsor they are, will be at the Locate from Hell. Competing at this division will automatically create an opportunity to win additional money as you are not allowed to use your own equipment. Selecting a Diamond Sponsor will make you eligible for an additional $1000 in winnings. A Platinum sponsor could increase your winnings by $750 and the gold would add $500.

* RADIODETECTION is the first DIAMOND REMC sponsor making it possible for the first place winner to earn an additional $1,000 in any division you compete in and for the first place winner from the Locate from Hell.

To join the Challenge you must sign a waiver and declare which REMC equipment you will be using at the Locate Rodeo registration booth on Friday August 1.

Diamond Sponsors

Diamond Sponsorship rewards first place winners in all Divisions. If you are a first place winner, who has declared your use of the Diamond sponsor's equipment at registration, in any Division and/or the Locate from Hell, you will be awarded an additional check for $1000.

For Example: John Doe, competing with a Diamond sponsor's equipment, wins first place in Power he would win $1000 from the Rodeo purse and another check for $1000 from the diamond REMC sponsorship. Then John wins first place in the Locate from Hell earning $1000 from the Rodeo purse and an additional check for $1000 for using the Diamond sponsor's equipment. That's a total of $4000!

Platinum Sponsors

Platinum Sponsorship rewards the first place winner in a specific Division. Platinum Sponsors will have predetermined which division they will sponsor, for example Power. If you are a first place winner in the division a Platinum Sponsor has selected and you declared your use of the Platinum Sponsor's equipment at registration you will be awarded an additional check for $750.

For Example: John Doe declared at registration that he would use the Platinum REMC's equipment at the Power Division. John wins first place in the Power Division. He will be awarded $1000 from the Rodeo purse and an additional check $750 from the REMC sponsorship money. John may also use this same equipment at the Locate from Hell. If he wins first place using a Platinum Sponsor's equipment he will $1000 from the rodeo purse and an additional check for $750 from the REMC sponsorship. That's a total of $3500 in winnings.

Gold Sponsors

Gold Sponsorship rewards the first place winner at the Locate from Hell. Gold sponsorship REMC's will only be found at the Locate from Hell. If you are the first place winner at the Locate from Hell, and you declared your use of the Gold Sponsor's equipment at registration, then you will be awarded an additional check for $500 from the REMC sponsorship.

For example: John Doe declares at registration that he will use the Gold REMC's equipment at the Locate from Hell. John uses his own equipment within his division, but decides to try out the Gold sponsor's equipment at the Locate from Hell. John wins first place in his division and earns $1000 from the rodeo purse. He also wins first place at the Locate from Hell earning him $1000 from the rodeo purse and an additional check for $500 from the REMC sponsorship. That's a total of $2500 in winnings.
